Lenovo and Motorola Launch Multi-Year Collaborations with MSG, Featuring Brand Activations for Knicks, Rangers, and More.
Lenovo and its subsidiary Motorola have signed new partnerships with Madison Square Garden (MSG) properties, which include collaborations with the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.
Under this multiyear agreement, Lenovo becomes an official partner of MSG and its sports teams, while also launching a contest aimed at supporting 10 small businesses in the tri-state area with technology upgrades. As part of the Lenovo Evolve Small initiative, one of these businesses will receive $50,000 worth of advertising on MSG Networks. In addition, Lenovo will gain digital and virtual signage at both Knicks and Rangers games.
Motorola, on the other hand, will take on the role of the exclusive title sponsor for MSG’s Celebrity Row at Knicks and Rangers games. This includes premium seat branding, with labels stating, "Celebrity Row presented by Motorola razr." Motorola will also feature prominently on social media for both teams and be visible on MSG’s in-arena GardenVision and selected game broadcasts on MSG Network. They will further activate a VIP backstage photo booth for celebrities attending games and concerts at MSG.
Lenovo will have the opportunity to highlight its products, such as laptops, desktops, tablets, and more, across various MSG properties, including the Sphere in Las Vegas. Additionally, Lenovo will serve as an official partner of the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes, with prominent placement on a Times Square billboard during the "New York at Christmas" scene.
Motorola’s deal will allow it to promote its smartphones at MSG and enjoy customized branding on Sphere’s LED exterior.
